Texas High School Football - Del Valle routs Horizon

September 30, 2022: El Paso, TX 79907

The Del Valle Conquistadores football squad scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Horizon Scorpions to 0 in the Conquistadores league victory on Friday.

The Conquistadores now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkland for a 5A-1 Region I District 1 battle on Friday, October 7. Del Valle will play a Matadors squad coming off a 57-7 league win over Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 4-2.

Coming up next, the Scorpions play the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 1 battle, on Friday, October 7. Horizon will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 41-24 league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
