The Douglas Trojans football team (Winston, OR), was beaten 38-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR)
The Honkers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils come into the 3A Special District 3 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Coquille achieved victory over Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR), 33-6, in a league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's for a 3A Special District 3 challenge on Friday, October 7. Douglas will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 33-14 league loss to South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
