The East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC) football defeated the visiting Hemingway Tigers (Hemingway, SC), 31-16 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wolverines face the Johnsonville Flashes (Johnsonville, SC) in a A Region 5 bout, on Friday, October 14. East Clarendon will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC). The Bears enter the A Region 5 bout with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Carvers Bay fell by Johnsonville (Johnsonville, SC), 21-20, in a league battle.
