The Stroudsburg Mountaineers football team (Stroudsburg, PA), was ripped 51-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA)

The Hornets (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Hurricanes come into the Eastern Pennsylvania - South challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Liberty trounced East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA), 44-28, in a non-league challenge.

The Mountaineers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Stroudsburg North for a Eastern Pennsylvania - North challenge on Friday, October 7. Stroudsburg will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 69-0 non-league loss to Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-5.
