Arizona High School Football - Fairfax gets by Kellis

The Fairfax Stampede football squad scored 32 points and restricted the visiting Kellis Cougars to 31 in the Stampede non-league victory on Friday.

The Stampede now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camelback for a 5A Metro battle on Friday, October 7. Fairfax will play a Spartans squad coming off a 42-30 non-league loss to Mesa (Mesa, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 7. Kellis will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 28-20 non-league win over Douglas (Douglas, AZ).
