Pennsylvania High School Football - Wilmington succumbs to Farrell

September 30, 2022: Farrell, PA 16121

The Farrell Steelers thwarted the visiting Wilmington Greyhounds football team by a count of 42-13 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Farrell upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Steelers travel to Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA) to encounter the Blue Devils in a District 10 Region 3 outing on Friday, October 7. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Sharpsville won 49-27 in their recent non-league outing against Sharon (Sharon, PA)

With the loss, Wilmington moves to 3-3 on the season. The Greyhounds host General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 7. The Lancers go into the outing with a record of 5-1. General McLane won 35-14 in their recent league outing against Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA)
