In Friday's league game, the Kailua Surfriders (Kailua, HI) football team knocked off the visiting Farrington Governors (Honolulu, HI), by a final score of 24-13.
The Surfriders (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Waipahu (Waipahu, HI). The Marauders come into the OIA I game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Waipahu toppled Castle (Kaneohe, HI), 60-13, in a league game.
The Governors now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a OIA I game on Saturday, October 8. Farrington will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 59-24 league loss to Waipahu (Waipahu, HI). The Rough Riders record now stands at 2-3.
