The Franklin Hornets football team (Franklin, LA), was beaten 41-16 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA)
The Lumberjacks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Cardinals come into the 3A District 8 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, E.D. White achieved victory over Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA), 45-21, in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Delcambre for a 2A District 8 challenge on Friday, October 7. Franklin will meet a Panthers team coming off a 48-14 non-league win over Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
