The Nestucca Bobcats football team (Cloverdale, OR), was tipped 20-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Gaston Greyhounds (Gaston, OR)
The Greyhounds (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Spartans come into the 2A Special District 1 (9 Man) challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Sheridan was tipped by Vernonia (Vernonia, OR), 34-8, in a league challenge.
The Bobcats now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Clatskanie for a 2A Special District 1 (9 Man) challenge on Friday, October 7. Nestucca will meet a Tigers team coming off a 24-20 league loss to Knappa (Astoria, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
