Illinois High School Football - Ridgeview/Lexington topples Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley

September 30, 2022: Colfax, IL

The Ridgeview/Lexington Mustangs (Colfax, IL) football defeated the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL), 40-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 7. Ridgeview/Lexington will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 33-3 league win over El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL).

The Falcons (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Vikings enter the Heart of Illinois - Large bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Tri-Valley defeated Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 41-0, in a league bout.
