Indiana High School Football - Gibson Southern defeats Mt. Vernon

September 30, 2022: Fort Branch, IN 47648

In Friday's league match, the host Gibson Southern Titans football squad scored a good 35-7 victory over the Mt. Vernon Wildcats.

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) in a Pocket - Big School match, on Friday, October 7. Gibson Southern will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 53-0 league loss to Boonville (Boonville, IN).

The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their match against North Posey (Poseyville, IN). The Vikings enter the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, North Posey ran past Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN), 28-20, in a league match.
