The Sparta Spartans football squad scored 25 points and limited the host Godwin Heights Wolverines to 16 in the Spartans league win on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Hopkins for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver battle on Friday, October 7. Sparta will play a Vikings squad coming off a 35-0 league win over Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 5-1.
