The Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) football routed the visiting Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY), 43-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Friday, October 7. Scott County will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Braves enter the bout with a 0-7 record after their 57-0 league loss to Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY).
The (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians enter the 5A District 6 bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Montgomery County was overwhelmed by Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY), 39-12, in a non-league bout.
