The Harbor Pirates football team (Santa Cruz, CA), was beaten 35-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Greenfield Bruins (Greenfield, CA)
The Bruins (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA). The Cougars come into the Pacific Coast - Santa Lucia challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, San Lorenzo Valley was beaten by Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA), 48-14, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marina for a Pacific Coast - Santa Lucia challenge on Saturday, October 8. Harbor will meet a Mariners team coming off a 33-20 league win over Gonzales (Gonzales, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 4-2.
