The Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI) football edged the visiting Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI), 15-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Rochester Falcons (Rochester Hills, MI) in a Oakland - White bout, on Friday, October 7. Groves will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 26-6 league win over Oak Park (Oak Park, MI).
