The North Summit Braves held off the visiting Gunnison Valley Bulldogs football team by a count of 22-19 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, North Summit upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Braves travel to Milford (Milford, UT) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 7. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Milford lost 49-34 in their recent league outing against Kanab (Kanab, UT)

With the loss, Gunnison Valley moves to 5-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT) to encounter the Eagles in a 1A - North outing on Friday, October 7. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Layton Christian Academy lost 28-9 in their recent non-league outing against Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID)
