The Harding Skippers football team (Fairport Harbor, OH), was beaten 35-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH)

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald come into the Northeastern challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, St. John was beaten by Mathews (Vienna, OH), 48-6, in a league challenge.

The Skippers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windham for a Northeastern challenge on Friday, October 7. Harding will meet a Bombers team coming off a 60-12 league loss to Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 2-4.
