The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC) and the host Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC), observed Laurence Manning Academy's football squad edge Heathwood Hall Episcopal by a count of 22-15.

The Swampcats now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Porter-Gaud for a SCISA AAAA contest on Friday, October 7. Laurence Manning Academy will encounter a Cyclones squad coming off a 20-7 league loss to Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-4.
