The New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) football defeated the host Hill-McCloy Rams (Montrose, MI), 42-13 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI) in a Mid-Michigan bout, on Friday, October 7. New Lothrop will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Marauders enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 49-13 league win over Chesaning (Chesaning, MI).
The Rams (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI). The Panthers enter the Mid-Michigan bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Mt. Morris defeated Byron (Byron, MI), 52-2, in a league bout.
