In Friday's league match, the host Holly Wildcats football squad scored a big 57-6 victory over the Las Animas Trojans.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Springfield Longhorns (Springfield, CO) in a A-8 League 7 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 7. Holly will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Longhorns enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 54-8 league loss to Wiley (Wiley, CO).

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their match against McClave (McClave, CO). The Cardinals enter the A-8 League 7 (8 Man) match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, McClave routed Swink (Swink, CO), 30-28, in a league match.
