California High School Football - Nogales overwhelms Hoover

September 30, 2022: La Puente, CA 91744

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Nogales Nobles (La Puente, CA) and the visiting Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA), observed Nogales's football squad bounce Hoover by a count of 47-7.

The Nobles now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Ontario for a Hacienda contest on Friday, October 14. Nogales will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 35-28 non-league win over Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-3.

Coming up next, the Tornados encounter the Carpinteria Warriors (Carpinteria, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 7. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 42-14 league loss to Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA).
