In Friday's league match, the host Oak Harbor Rockets football squad scored a close 29-28 victory over the Huron Tigers.

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Edison Chargers (Milan, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Bay match, on Friday, October 7. Oak Harbor will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 13-7 league win over Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH).

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Vermilion (Vermilion, OH). The Sailors enter the Sandusky Bay - Bay match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Vermilion was nudged by Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH), 41-0, in a league match.
