The Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) football routed the host South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD), 48-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars face the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 7. Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Colonels enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 22-6 non-league win over North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD).
The Rebels (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Patriots enter the non-league bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Governor Thomas Johnson was overwhelmed by South Carroll (Sykesville, MD), 23-7, in a non-league bout.
