The Lawrence-Nelson Raiders football squad scored 46 points and limited the host Kenesaw Blue Devils to 12 in the Raiders league win on Friday.

The Raiders now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Lake for a D2 District 6 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 7. Lawrence-Nelson will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 34-20 league loss to Deshler (Deshler, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE) in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, October 7. Kenesaw will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 30-0 league loss to Axtell (Axtell, NE).
