The Sperry Pirates football team (Sperry, OK), was tipped 24-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Kiefer Trojans (Kiefer, OK)

The Trojans (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK). The Bulldogs come into the 2A District 7 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Okmulgee was tipped by Westville (Westville, OK), 20-18, in a league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westville for a 2A District 7 challenge on Friday, October 7. Sperry will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 20-18 league win over Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-3.
