In Friday's league match, the visiting West Point Warriors football squad scored a good 21-7 victory over the Lawrence County Red Devils.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Ardmore Tigers (Ardmore, AL) in a 5A Region 8 match, on Friday, October 7. West Point will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 42-12 league loss to Fairview (Cullman, AL).
The Red Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their match against East Limestone (Athens, AL). The Indians enter the 5A Region 8 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, East Limestone dropped by West Limestone (Lester, AL), 31-7, in a non-league match.
