In Friday's league match, the visiting Morton Potters football squad scored a big 49-7 victory over the Limestone Rockets.

In their next game, the Potters clash with the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) in a Mid-Illini match, on Friday, October 7. Morton will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 51-7 league loss to Washington (Washington, IL).
