The Pleasant Valley Raiders football team (Jacksonville, AL), was tipped 21-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL)
The Hornets (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeastern (Remlap, AL). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region 6 challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Southeastern nipped Cleveland (Cleveland, AL), 48-26, in a league challenge.
The Raiders now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Garden for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 7. Pleasant Valley will meet a Panthers team coming off a 44-12 league win over Talladega County Central (Talladega, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-1.
