Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Ludlow Panthers (Ludlow, KY), 45-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mason County improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY) to battle the Panthers in a 3A District 6 test on Friday, October 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Fleming County won 33-20 in their recent league test against Powell County (Stanton, KY)

With the loss, Ludlow drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY) to battle the Thoroughbreds in a 1A District 4 test on Friday, October 7. The Thoroughbreds come into the test with a record of 6-1. Newport Central Catholic won 42-26 in their recent non-league test against Newport (Newport, KY)
