Ohio High School Football - Washington defeats Middletown

September 30, 2022: Massillon, OH 44646

In Friday's non-league match, the host Washington Tigers football squad scored a good 42-24 victory over the Middletown Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 7. Washington will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 24-20 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, NY).

The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against William Penn (New Castle, DE). The Colonials enter the 3A District 1 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, William Penn ran past Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE), 20-14, in a league match.
