Texas High School Football - Newman Smith trounces Molina

September 30, 2022: Carrollton, TX 75006

In Friday's league match, the host Newman Smith Trojans football squad scored a big 52-13 victory over the Molina Jaguars.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 match, on Friday, October 7. Newman Smith will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Bison enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 35-8 league loss to Turner (Carrollton, TX).

The Jaguars (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Hawks enter the 5A-1 Region II District 5 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Birdville was crushed by Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX), 54-28, in a league match.
