In Friday's league match, the host Naaman Forest Rangers football squad scored a good 39-13 victory over the Sachse Mustangs.

In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Garland Owls (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 match, on Thursday, October 6. Naaman Forest will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Owls enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 34-7 league loss to Wylie East (Wylie, TX).

The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Garland (Garland, TX). The Owls enter the 6A Region II District 9 match with a 4-2 record.
