The North Butler Bearcats football team (Greene, IA), was ripped 68-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA)

The Saints (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Eagles come into the A District 2 challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, West Hancock trounced Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA), 31-18, in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Mills for a A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 7. North Butler will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-28 league loss to Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
