Louisiana High School Football - North Central overwhelms Northwood

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA) and the host Northwood Gators (Lena, LA), observed North Central's football squad bounce Northwood by a tally of 36-0.

The Hurricanes now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Edmund for a 1A District 6 contest on Friday, October 7. North Central will play a Fighting Blue Jays squad coming off a 48-12 non-league loss to Oakdale (Oakdale, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Gators play the Montgomery Tigers (Montgomery, LA) in a 1A District 3 contest, on Friday, October 7. Northwood will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 37-6 non-league loss to Beekman (Bastrop, LA).
