The Northeast Baptist Knights football team (West Monroe, LA), was beaten 18-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Tensas Academy Chiefs (St. Joseph, LA)

The Chiefs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Briarfield Academy knocked off Sharkey Issaquena Academy (Rolling Fork, MS), 36-0, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Union Christian Academy for a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 2 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 7. Northeast Baptist will meet a Lions team coming off a 38-14 league loss to Deer Creek (Arcola, MS). The Lions record now stands at 0-6.
