In Friday's league match, the host Northwest Wolves football squad scored a good 17-7 victory over the Sioux City East Black Raiders.
In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA) in a 5A Group 6 match, on Friday, October 21. Northwest will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
The Black Raiders (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Scarlets enter the 5A Group 6 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Des Moines East dropped by Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA), 45-40, in a league match.
