In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Welch Wildcats football squad scored a big 40-6 victory over the Olive Wildcats.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Gans Grizzlies (Gans, OK) in a B District 6 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 7. Welch will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Grizzlies enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 52-6 non-league loss to Porum (Porum, OK).
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Yale (Yale, OK). The Bulldogs enter the B District 7 (8 Man) match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Yale was crushed by Garber (Garber, OK), 62-60, in a non-league match.
