Nebraska High School Football - West Point-Beemer knocks off Ponca

The West Point-Beemer Cadets football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Ponca Indians to 7 in the Cadets non-league win on Friday.

The Cadets now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a C1 District 4 battle on Friday, October 7. West Point-Beemer will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 55-7 league loss to Boone Central (Albion, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Norfolk Catholic Knights (Norfolk, NE) in a C2 District 4 battle, on Friday, October 7. Ponca will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 28-7 league win over Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE).
