Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Saks Wildcats (Anniston, AL), 42-41 in a league test.
With the triumph, Randolph County improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wellborn (Anniston, AL) to confront the Panthers in a 3A Region 4 test on Friday, October 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Wellborn won 46-26 in their recent league test against Childersburg (Childersburg, AL)
With the loss, Saks drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Weaver (Weaver, AL) to confront the Bearcats in a 3A Region 4 test on Friday, October 7. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 1-5. Weaver won 46-8 in their recent non-league test against Asbury (Albertville, AL)
