California High School Football - Sierra Pacific held off by Selma

September 30, 2022: Selma, CA 93662

In Friday's non-league game, the Selma Bears (Selma, CA) football team tipped the visiting Sierra Pacific Golden Bears (Hanford, CA), by a final score of 27-24.

The Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA). The Cavaliers come into the Tri-County - Kings Canyon game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Central Valley Christian got by Kerman (Kerman, CA), 55-14, in a non-league game.

The Golden Bears now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Immanuel for a Tri-County - Sequoia game on Friday, October 7. Sierra Pacific will battle a Eagles team coming off a 27-23 league win over Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
