Virginia High School Football - Union smashes Thomas Walker

September 30, 2022: Appalachia, VA 24219

The Union Bears (Appalachia, VA) football routed the visiting Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), 40-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears face the Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) in a Mountain bout, on Friday, October 7. Union will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 33-6 non-league win over Richlands (Richlands, VA).

The Pioneers (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 0-5 record.
