In Friday's league game, the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) football team were victorious over the host Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), by a score of 48-18.
The Braves (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Blue Tornado come into the 3A District 1 game with a 3-3 record.
The Trojans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trigg County for a 3A District 1 game on Friday, October 14. Webster County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 43-10 league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-1.
