The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Rockingham, VA) and the host Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers (Marshall, VA), saw Cornerstone Christian's volleyball squad beat Fresta Valley Christian by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Cornerstone Christian upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Ridgeview Christian (Stuarts Draft, VA) to play the Crusaders in a bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Ridgeview Christian lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Grace Christian (Staunton, VA)

The Pioneers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Redeemer Classical for a bout on Friday, October 7.
