Pennsylvania High School Soccer - West Scranton nudges Elk Lake

West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Invaders confront the Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division II challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. West Scranton will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).
The Warriors now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Forge for a Lackawanna - Division III challenge on Tuesday, October 11.
