In Friday's non-league contest, the Bourne Canalmen (Bourne, MA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Canalmen battle the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs (Mattapoisett, MA) in a South Coast contest, on Wednesday, October 5. Bourne will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Case (Swansea, MA).
