The Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN) volleyball were winner over the host Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Houston betters its record to 21-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Madison Central (Madison, MS) to face the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 30. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 23-7. Madison Central lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Brandon (Brandon, MS)

The Bulldogs now sport a 38-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lafayette for a non-league outing on Monday, October 3. Brandon will face a Commodores squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS). The Commodores record now stands at 12-11.
