The Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) volleyball overcame the host Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Conner upgrades its record to 15-10 on the year. The Cougars travel to Adair County (Columbia, KY) to face the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, September 30. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 1-13.

The Lakers now own a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington Catholic for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 1. Russell County will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bardstown (Bardstown, KY). The Knights record now stands at 17-6.
