The Southern Cayuga Chiefs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Groton Indians to 1 in the Chiefs league victory on Friday.

The Chiefs now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lansing for a Section 4 Interscholastic game on Wednesday, October 5. Southern Cayuga will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-0.

The Indians (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Charles O. Dickerson (Trumansburg, NY). The Blue Raiders enter the Section 4 Interscholastic game with a 16-3 record. In their last game, Charles O. Dickerson gained a win over Union Springs (Union Springs, NY), 3-0, in a league game.
