New York High School Football - Beach Channel sneaks past Jefferson

The Beach Channel Dolphins (Rockaway Park, NY) football edged the visiting Jefferson Orange Wave (Brooklyn, NY), 16-12 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Dolphins face the Douglass Academy Lions (New York, NY) in a PSAL AA bout, on Sunday, October 8. Beach Channel will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 34-16 league loss to Grady (Brooklyn, NY).
The Orange Wave (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Far Rockaway (Far Rockaway, NY). The Seahorses enter the PSAL AA bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Far Rockaway was nudged by East Harlem (New York, NY), 14-0, in a league bout.
