The Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) football routed the host Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), 47-8 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A bout, on Friday, October 6. Gwynn Park will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 13-0 league win over Surrattsville (Clinton, MD).
The Cavaliers (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Lions enter the Prince George's County 2A/1A bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Largo was crushed by Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD), 47-12, in a league bout.
